Trump travel ban: Seattle judge issues nationwide block versus Egyptian national tried to carry out a terrorist attack in Paris - the BBC can't connect the two

The BBC are exultant that President Donald Trump has had his restrictions on entry into the USA from seven countries put in doubt by a Federal Judge.

Yet they also report that:
'French authorities say they believe the man who tried to attack the Louvre museum in the capital Paris on Friday was a 29-year-old Egyptian man.Prosecutor Francois Molins said he is thought to have travelled to Paris from Dubai on a tourist visa last month.'

Have the BBC considered that Europeans and indeed Americans might be safer from Islamist terror attack if people from countries that harbour or create such terrorists were checked much more thoroughly before they were allowed into Europe and America.

It is also conceivable that many Europeans and Americans might feel even safer if entry from such countries was made very very difficult indeed.

That would still leave Europe and America with the problem of terrorists from other countries and home grown ones too, but one step at a time...
