The Rt Rev Michael Nazir-Ali's comments - I recall something

Something was bugging in me about the fuss over The Rt Rev Michael Nazir-Ali's comments. It was the way the media and some "commentators" were saying where are these no-go areas. Then it hit me... Cast your mind back to September 2006 when the then Home Secretary John Reid was making a speech in Leytonstone, East London. He was interrupted by Abu Izzadeen (aka Omar Brooks). You can read the BBC's account of the incident here. What the BBC report does not include is how Abu Izzadeen started his interruption, but you can hear for yourself here ........

"How dare you come to a Muslim area..."

You can see Abu Izzadeen "explaining" himself here .......

You can also the BBC Newsnight piece on Abu Izzadeen here where he calls the 7/7 bombers as "praiseworthy" and his friend tries to put it all into context.....
